What happened in June

On June 8-9, 2026, Humanity Protocol suffered a serious breach: attackers stole 141.2 million H on Ethereum and illegitimately minted another 300 million H on BNB Smart Chain, for combined losses estimated at $36 million. The token dropped roughly 90% after the attack, and the team migrated to a newly audited contract via a 1:1 swap.

What we know about the unlock

• 266.47 million H tokens worth about $15.6 million unlock on July 25.
• That's 2.7% of total supply — but roughly 8.6% of current circulating supply, making it larger relative to float than comparable unlocks from LayerZero (4.6%) and Kaito (4.3%).
