Trader Turned $838 Into $1M+ on the CASHCAT Meme Coin
A crypto trader operating from a wallet starting with 0xDE4C bought 15.04 million CASHCAT tokens roughly three weeks ago for just $838 — then, after the token's explosive rally, sold 13.5 million tokens for about $917,600 while keeping another 1.5 million tokens worth roughly $133,700, Finbold reports. The combined position topped $1.05 million — a roughly 1,253x return on the original investment.
CASHCAT, a meme coin named after an internal mascot from Robinhood's early days, surged 900-1,900% within 24 hours on Robinhood Chain, the company's new blockchain launched July 1, 2026, briefly pushing its market cap above $110 million, CryptoTimes notes.
What this means in practice: CASHCAT's rally became the first real sign of user traffic on Robinhood Chain — but it's meme-coin mania, not any of the network's originally pitched use cases like tokenized stocks, that turned out to be what actually caught on with users in its first few weeks.
