Kraken launches 15th Anniversary Sweepstakes: 15 winners, 15 ETH each
Exchange Kraken has launched a sweepstakes to mark its 15th anniversary: 15 winners will each take home 15 ETH, for a total prize pool of 225 ETH.
To enter, users first enroll in the promotion, then trade on eligible markets — every $1 of trading volume earns one entry into the drawing. The promotion runs from August 5 through August 31, 2026. Entries can be submitted through the Kraken app, the Kraken Pro app, or Kraken Pro web — all three surfaces feed into the same shared entry pool.
- Prize pool: 225 ETH, split among 15 winners at 15 ETH each
- Promotion period: August 5-31, 2026
- Open to eligible clients in most markets, with some countries and US states excluded — full details in Kraken's official rules
The sweepstakes lands amid active product expansion at the exchange: we previously covered how Kraken bought Magic Labs' wallet business, with Magic itself becoming Newton Labs, and how the exchange launched USD-settled bitcoin and ether options. A large ETH-denominated anniversary giveaway is a classic industry playbook move — marking the milestone while boosting trading activity heading into late summer.
