Kraken lists DOS, the token behind a Web3 AI agent OS
Kraken opened trading for DOS on August 10, the exchange announced, the token tied to DAPPOS, a Web3 AI operating system project not to be confused with the older, unrelated DOS Network or DOS Chain projects that share the same ticker.
DAPPOS describes its product as an "Intelligence Layer" that plans and executes onchain tasks through a multi-agent framework paired with a reinforcement-learning system it calls the Bubble Engine, feeding into an "Execution Layer" that converts those plans into actual onchain transactions via what it calls the DAPPOS Intent Execution Network. The flagship product built on that stack is xBubble, described as a low-prompt AI agent meant to handle onchain actions with minimal user input.
The DOS token itself has a fixed total supply of 1 billion, deployed on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token, though third-party trackers also show contracts on BNB Chain. That multi-chain footprint makes Kraken's standard listing warning, that deposits sent over an unsupported network will be lost, worth taking seriously here rather than treating it as routine boilerplate. Kraken's own announcement doesn't specify which network it supports for deposits, so checking the exchange's funding interface directly before sending any DOS is the only reliable way to confirm it.
Only about 200 million DOS, a fifth of total supply, entered circulation at token generation, with none of the team or investor allocation unlocked yet. That combination, a small float and a listing price that had nowhere to go but discover itself in real time, produced sharp volatility: the token's price on Kraken has ranged from roughly $0.35 to $0.63 since trading opened, putting it more than 40% below its post-listing high within the first two days. Reported backers include Binance Labs, Polychain Capital, Sequoia China, and IDG Capital, though the exact funding amount varies by source and hasn't been independently confirmed through a primary announcement.
- DOS/USD went live on Kraken August 10, 2026; only USD pairing confirmed, no USDT or EUR pair listed
- DAPPOS: Web3 AI OS with an Intelligence Layer (multi-agent + reinforcement-learning Bubble Engine) and an Execution Layer for onchain transactions
- Fixed supply: 1 billion DOS; ~200 million (20%) circulating at launch, no team or investor tokens unlocked yet
- Price has swung between roughly $0.35 and $0.63 since listing, over 40% off its post-listing high
DOS lands in a market already crowded with AI-agent tokens chasing onchain autonomy. Cloudflare recently found that anonymous AI agent wallets carry a real trust cost once they start transacting without a verifiable identity behind them, and Coinbase's own SEC-registered AI investment agent shows the largest US exchanges are pursuing the same idea through a far more regulated path than a fresh token listing. Whether DAPPOS can build enough real onchain activity to justify its valuation, rather than riding the same speculative wave every new AI-agent token launches into, remains to be seen. The first two days of trading gave an early, unflattering answer, and a listing on a major exchange like Kraken buys attention, not proof that the underlying product finds real users.
