Bitcoin's pulse: the $62-63.5K corridor, and who's really selling

While Bitcoin's price sits in a narrow, almost boring corridor, several stories are unfolding around it about who's actually selling coins right now — and why that might matter more than the chart itself.

Where the price stands

We already covered how Bitcoin has held a $62,000-$63,500 corridor for a third straight day, amid spot ETF outflows and a hawkish Fed decision. Technically, it all comes down to one level: as long as price holds above $62,000, the recovery scenario toward $70,000-$73,000 stays intact, while losing it reopens the road to $49,000.

For digital assets, that's the least favorable outcome on the table this cycle.

Who's selling, and why

A fresh example of the nervousness around selling: Trump Media transferred a large BTC sum to an exchange for the second time and called it a non-sale, using the exact same wording it used three months earlier. The company's treasury has shrunk by more than half since.

A similar pattern shows up among smaller players too: two UK bitcoin treasury firms started selling coins in the same week — a sign the pressure isn't confined to giants like Trump Media.

On the mining side, pressure is building too: bitcoin mining difficulty dropped 10% as some miners are already operating at a loss at current prices and power costs — another way to see the strain in the system without looking at an exchange chart at all.

How we got here

The contrast is sharper given that Bitcoin and Ethereum outperformed the entire market in July — meaning this selling pressure didn't follow a bad month, it followed one of the strongest in recent memory.

Three different selling stories — a company, treasury firms, miners — converge on the same observation: the chart's corridor is holding, but selling pressure is building from several directions at once, and that pressure, not the chart itself, is what's worth watching first.

Nothing here should be taken as financial advice — just information to consider.
